How To Use Gender Euphoria

You can use gender euphoria statements (i.e., affirmations) just like you used hope before. Whenever you feel like the gender dysphoria is making you unhappy and filling your mind with negative thoughts, follow these steps:

  1. Take a few deep breaths to calm yourself down and focus on what’s happening right now.
  2. Repeat your affirmations to yourself, either silently or out loud.
  3. As you repeat each affirmation, imagine yourself in happy moments. Picture yourself smiling, surrounded by people who love you, feeling really confident!

Keep practicing these positive statements, especially when the gender dysphoria tries to make you feel small and sad. As you keep doing this, you might notice that it helps you feel more confident and happier about your gender identity over time.
