Active Distraction

Distraction is when you purposely focus on something else to help you deal with gender dysphoria. There are two types of distraction: active and passive.

Active distraction means doing something that needs all of your attention and involvement. It can be anything you enjoy and find interesting, like taking a walk, reading a book, playing video games, or doing a hobby. The important thing is to pick an activity that you really like and that captures your attention. That way, you can fully enjoy it and forget gender dysphoria for a bit.
