Thank you for taking the time to explore how the gender dysphoria shows up in different parts of your life. That kind of reflection takes courage and it really matters.
By noticing the ways the gender dysphoria tries to affect your thoughts, feelings, and actions, you’re building self-awareness, which is one of your strongest tools. The more you understand how it shows up, the more power you have to take care of yourself in ways that feel right for you.
Every insight you shared brings you one step closer to feeling more grounded, more in control, and more connected to who you really are. You’re doing important work and it’s important to feel proud of that!

It’s time for another self-care break!
Thinking about all the mean and negative ways that the gender dysphoria tries to control your life can be really exhausting. Take 2-3 minutes now to re-center yourself. Remember, square breathing can be a great skill to calm your nerves and help you feel more peaceful. You could also do something else that helps you relax—like a quick dance break, squeezing a stress ball, drinking some water, or thinking of 3 things that make you feel proud to be trans and/or nonbinary.Thinking about skipping this self-care break? Stop for a second and notice why. Are you in a hurry? Feeling checked out? Or just thinking you don’t need it? Knowing the reason can help you take better care of yourself. If you realize you’re skipping because you feel checked out or rushed, that’s a sign you probably need the break even more. Taking this short pause gives your brain and body a chance to reset so you come back with more energy and focus. It’s not wasted time—it’s what helps the rest of this work stick. ¿Tienes prisa? ¿Te sientes desconectado/a/e?
